Farmhaus Vineyard Fireclay Sink

The Farmhaus Vineyard Fireclay Sink is finished on three sides with a 1-3/4" lip on all four sides. The 21-7/8" long by 14-1/4" wide basin with a 7-1/2" depth tapers slightly on the sides. This fireclay sink brings a touch of old world charm to the kitchen with its individually hand painted clusters of ripe grapes and rich green leaves hanging from a wooden trellis.

The Farmhaus Fireclay hand-painted sink is a popular choice for the authentic look and feel of classic old world design. The Farmhaus Fireclay hand-painted sink is made using the time-honored slipcasting method. The clay is poured into a porous, two-piece plaster mold that absorbs the water. When the clay is dry, the sink is removed and sponged to a smooth finish. Slow drying increases the overall strength and prevents cracking of the sink. A vitreous china glaze called endobe is applied, then the sink is sprayed with a mixture of finely ground glass, water and cellulose binder. The anti-bacterial glaze resists scratches, stains and burns. Clean the outside of the Farmhaus Fireclay sink with mild soap and warm water. Wipe the entire surface dry with a dry, clean, soft cloth. If the sink gets dirty, it can be cleaned with any general purpose cleaner. This fireclay sink has a 3-1/2" drain opening. Complete instructions are included to assure easy installation. This sink has a manufacturer's 5 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Please note that this sink does not come with faucets. The Farmhaus Fireclay Sink may have slight variations in size. It is recommended that the sink be on-site when ordering or manufacturing cabinets.
